We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Audit Manager to lead and manage audit engagements across diverse sectors. This role involves overseeing high-performing teams, building strong client relationships, and ensuring audit quality in compliance with IFRS, ISA, CAMA, and other relevant standards.
As a key leader in our Audit & Assurance team, you’ll drive operational excellence, provide strategic insight, and promote innovation through data analytics and digital audit tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and execute end-to-end audit engagements within budget and deadlines.
- Develop tailored audit strategies and perform risk assessments based on client-specific needs.
- Provide expert guidance on complex accounting issues and evolving regulatory frameworks.
- Review and approve financial statements, audit reports, and management letters.
- Serve as the lead contact for client executives; build trusted relationships and identify opportunities for value-added services.
- Monitor engagement performance, profitability, and adherence to internal quality standards.
- Mentor and develop audit seniors and associates, contributing to talent development and succession planning.
- Promote innovation by integrating digital audit tools and data analytics.
- Collaborate with partners and directors on business development, proposals, and thought leadership.
- Ensure timely archiving of audit documentation and full compliance with firm policies and standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or HND (Upper Credit) in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum of five (5) O’Level credits (including Mathematics and English) in one sitting.
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification (mandatory).
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive audit experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, GAAP, and regulatory reporting standards.
- Proven leadership, project management, and client relationship skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive team performance, innovation, and strategic alignment with firm values.
