About the role
We are seeking a versatile and experienced HR Consultant to join our Management Consulting team. This full-time, hybrid role includes serving as an embedded HR Business Partner (HRBP) at a client site, providing strategic and operational HR support. You will also contribute to other internal and external HR consulting engagements. The ideal candidate is a versatile HR generalist with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
On-Site HR Business Partner Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for the client, supporting day-to-day HR operations.
- Collaborate with client leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Support the implementation of HR policies and organizational development initiatives.
- Lead workforce planning and learning & development efforts.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and deliver periodic HR reports and insights to client stakeholders.
Consulting Support Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of HR strategies for other client engagements.
- Assist in crafting HR policies, employee handbooks, job descriptions, and training content.
- Contribute to talent management, organizational design, and process improvement projects.
- Conduct research, analyze HR data, and help develop high-quality deliverables.
- Travel to client locations when required to support project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 1 year in a client-facing or consulting capacity.
- Strong knowledge of core HR functions, employment law, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is a strong advantage.
